The Mohegan Sun Casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is preparing to open this fall. Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment just announced the official name of the property in Sin City and have now revealed they are working with Betfred USA Sports for its sports betting operations.

Adding Sports Betting:

The Mohegan Sun Casino will offer a sportsbook within its new 60,000 square foot casino. This venue will be located within the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. The casino is currently undergoing an eight-month renovation. Once the renovation is complete and regulatory approvals provided, the venue will open.

Vice President of Interactive Gaming at MGE, Aviram Alroy commented on the new partnership by stating that the casino is excited to work with Betfred, as the company is a leading operator in Europe and the UK. The affiliation between MGE and Betfred will bring new and attractive competition to the region.

It was in 2019 that Betfred USA Sports was created, based in Las Vegas. The company was launched by the Betfred Group so that the brand could officially offer services in the sports betting market of the United States.

The new sportsbook provided by the brand will offer luxury seating along with a large video wall using state of the art technology. Self-serve kiosks will be provided along with over the counter wagering options for sports betting.

With the new partnership, it marks the fourth time that Betfred has launched a sportsbook in the US. They have services in other states like Iowa, Pennsylvania, and Colorado.

Along with the sportsbook, the new Mohegan Sun property is set to offer a large gaming space along with 12 dining venues. There will also be 117,000 square feet of indoor meeting and event space. AEG Presents will operate a live music and entertainment venue that will house 4,500 individuals.
